Port Douglas
The Rainforest Habitat Wildlife Sanctuary
Near Port Douglas, the Rainforest
Habitat is divided into three sections, the Wetlands, the Rainforest and the
Grasslands. It is an excellent place for guaranteed close encounters with some of
Australia's indigenous wildlife.
You can hand feed the Kangaroos and Wallabies, cuddle the Koala and take breakfast with
the birds, though you might want to keep your Crocodile encounter a little more distant.
