The First Time... - Greek Travels
On my first visit to Greece I stayed near Corinth. From here I visited Athens,
and also made short trips to the Islands of Hydra, Poros, and
Aegina.
| Athens is crowded, busy, noisy, but wonderful. Visiting the
Acropolis and seeing the Parthenon is something everyone should do, words cannot describe
how spectacular it is. I would like to have it to myself, just for a few moments. |

I stayed at Isthmia, very close to the southern end of the Corinth Canal.
One day I sailed through the canal on a little boat, we saw foxes running along the
near vertical canal walls. |
