The obvious attraction in Bodum is the Castle, built by the Knights of St John in 1402, it houses several separate small and interesting museums, including two halls with finds from local excavated shipwrecks.

Ancient Amphitheatre

Bodrum is the main town in the area, and dates from the eleventh century BC. It was home to the Mausoleum of King Mausolus, one of the seven ancient wonders of the world.
