Didyma
The oracle at Didyma, though less famous than
Delphi still dates from the 11th century BC, though the visible
ruins date from Roman times.

The temple originally had 108 columns, of which only
three remain at full height. The scale of the place really
is hard to believe, you can understand why it took the Romans five
centuries to build it. |
